I watch Stephanie get handcuffed. Mom keeps asking what is going on. "That is exactly what I am trying to figure out, because apparently we were lied to. I believe this was an attack on Rae by Avalena and her friends." Mom gasps. She shakes her head. Her eyes get wide and filled with tears.
"Once I have the correct information, I will call you to make decisions. For now, stay here with your sister in Rae's room and don't worry your pretty little head. I will handle it. You stay with our princess, and make sure no-one goes near her, because we can't trust anyone. Tommy is here in the waiting room, so if you need a break, only he can stay with Rae," he kisses her and she nods. I feel deflated. This is how I wanted things to be for Ava. I had to handle it all for her, but I failed her
