After comforting his wife, he just fix himself and prepare for work. He's ready to go. He leave his wife while she fell asleep because of crying earlier. He needs to go the office so he just left him a letter to call him if there is a problem in house.
While going to the office, he just faced a light traffic in the road so will arrived on at least, half an hour of trip. He's about to enter the parking lot when he receive a phone call from his secretary so he answered it while driving.
