"Welcome back, Luna," the pack greeted me warmly when I stepped out through the tree door. I smiled and waved at them.
"Feels good to be back," I commented, taking in the smell of the fresh air.
"We had thought you wouldn't come back," Liya grumbled. I chuckled at her, she tries to be intimidating and she is but to me, she looks like an always frowning child, which is kind of cute if you ask me.
"I never said I wouldn't be back," I teased raising an eyebrow. She rolled her eyes at me muttering, "whatever," before she turned on her heels and left. Wordlessly her mate followed after her like a lost p***y. I raised an amused brow at their departing back. It is more than clear the Beta loves his mate more than anything else.
