Something is wrong.
Maverick has been acting weird lately. He keeps showing me affection in front of everyone. Like yesterday he went as far as carrying me bridal style all day. Who does that?
When I confronted him if everything was okay, he replied, "I'm fine. I just need reassurance."
But reassurance for what?
Maybe he was just shaken up from my parents' attack. But that is unlikely as he has attacked many packs before. So, what can it be that he wants reassurance for?
My wolf snorted and shook her head in disappointment. She has been acting weird lately too. She keeps giving smug looks and when I ask her what is with that expression she keeps replying, "I figured it out." Like what the f**k did she figured out? And why isn't she telling me?
