Chapter Forty Nine
Juniper POV
“Cast Call"
Before I know it it’s Wednesday night, and time for another show.
“Hold your hand still!” Alice scolds me while working on my nails.
“I’m sorry! It’s hard not to move at all while doing my makeup.”
“You’re a theatre kid! You should be used to it!”
“I’ve never had someone give me professional acrylics before each show, Alice.”
She pauses in the middle of filing down my nail to laugh. “Fair enough.”
“CAST CALL IN TEN!” Mrs. Walters yells, walking into the dressing room.
“Why didn’t we do cast call the opening nights?” I wonder out loud.
“Because there were multiple other things that needed attention. Now, everyone backstage in 10!”
Ten minutes later we all convene for cast call backstage. I managed to finish getting ready in time.
