“Auditions round two”
Juniper POV
“Why are you so jittery? You’ll obviously get the leads. If not for your talent then for the fact that you’re Luna.” Knox whispers to me as we’re backstage, ready to go on and audition. He’s going right before me.
I turn around and smack him.
“I never want to get anything just because of my position in the pack!”
He rubs his cheek. “You’re paying for that tonight.” He says before we hear his name get called for his turn.
“Break a leg” I tell him, smacking his ass.
He gives me a dangerous look before walking on stage. Yeah, I definitely shouldn’t have done that.
Knox and I are the last to audition, so there’s nobody else backstage. I revel in the darkness and silence.
