“How dare you?”
Juniper POV
“Knox, you need to stay calm. She is your future Luna. You have already put far too much strain on your relationship, do you think leaving her tied to a bed until she “learns her lesson” is going to get you anywhere with her?”
Even in my drowsy state I can hear the concern in the voice of Knox’s mother.
“Mom, I don’t give a f**k! I can’t trust her! What am I supposed to do, let her wander around and get herself in danger again? I love her too much!” Knox exclaims.
Luna Mary sighs. “You best pray that she still loves you after this.” She mutters, before I hear footsteps retreat and a door open and close.
“I’m so sorry, J. This is for your own good” Knox whispers before walking out of the room I’m in as well.
