“Closing night pt. 1”
Closing nights are always so sad for the cast. The only thing keeping me going is the knowledge that there are auditions literally next week.
Tonight is Thursday, and closing night of Hercules. Tomorrow is closing night of Cinderella.
I’ve been sad all day, and Mrs. Walters ended up excusing everyone in the plays from school for closing nights. Tomorrow night she will, also, announce the next two plays we will be working on.
How she manages to run this sort of a theatre program so successfully? I’ll never know. She truly is a magician.
