I felt my entire body stiffen as I looked down at her. Her golden eyes were glowing, did she not realize she was giving herself away? There was a part of me that wanted to grab her hand and pull her out of that diner and slam her against the wall and tell her to stop. To stop trying to reach me. To stop looking at me like that, and most importantly to stop caring. But all I could do was sigh and say.
