“How are you two today?” Hal asked us as he drove the car downtown where we were to meet Sylvia, Lisa, and Mandy at La Montes.
“We’re great Hal, how are you?” I asked.
“Well, I’m good and nervous at the same time. Today I was told I won’t be driving Mr. Stone anymore after he gets back. I’m moving to Florida.”
“Oh? That sounds exciting. I’ll miss you," I said. I really liked Hal. He was a nice guy.
“Thank you, I will miss you and Mr. Stone too. But, my uncle says this is a great opportunity for me. I’ll be an office manager and a PA for a well-known security firm there. He says my skills will be appreciated there.”
“So, who will be driving Joel around then?” I asked.
“I don’t know. They’re in the process of interviewing prospects.”
