“Lyla, I’d like to talk to you about those two a*sholes. I don’t care what you do with that Harry guy. I want Ben,” I said as I came back into the kitchen with Wolf. We loaded our plates. I saw Ashlynn had a plate in front of her already.
She was still holding the baby while everyone ate, so I picked up her fork and started feeding her some scrambled eggs.
She smiled at me before taking what I was offering.
“You got it. I wouldn’t mind having some fun with Harry. He put a hit out on my friend here. Now, I get to show him what it looks like when someone is taken out by an assassin. This is good. I haven’t had any killing fun for six months. Took out a father and son duo with my protégé last year. Saved a wife and her daughter-in-law from the misery they both endured.”
