Eileen's POV
After I was done talking, the triplets' reaction shocked me. They immediately screamed "no", their voices echoing through the room in unison. I was taken aback by their refusal to accept my rejection. Brett's face was red with anger, Arthur's eyes were filled with a deep sadness, and Kyle's voice was shaking with emotion.
"What!" I blurted out more surprised than annoyed. After everything they had done and said, I thought they would be happy or at least relieved to see that I was the one rejecting them. They made it clear to me that they weren't interested in whatever it was that we had together anymore. That they didn't need me again and they didn't want me again, why would they say no and refuse? I was confused and frowned at them.
