  Eileen's POV   After listening to Brett's entire story, I felt my whole body turning red, shame filling my mind. I actually scolded the person who saved my child—even my own mate. I'm not a competent mother, nor a qualified mate.   After explaining, Brett left to report the witches' movements to Arthur. I could sense his sadness, and it was all because of me.
