I look through the window when the taxi pulls up outside our hotel. It's a massive building, at least three times bigger than Seth's mansion back in the city. I should have known that Seth would go for nothing but the grandest, most exquisite hotel there was while still keeping it near home.
In the distance, the sea stretches to infinity. Now that I don't have any books to keep me busy, I'll be spending most of my time in the water. I should at least spot a tan to show for my honeymoon.
Seth opens my door then steps back to usher me out. He takes my hand and I try to pull away but he tightens his hold, making me wince. His tight hold is not painful but it's outright uncomfortable.
