I'm numb the entire car ride to the church. My dad is seated beside me, clutching my cold hand. He frowns when I shiver against him. "Are you cold?" He asks, concern etched on his face. "I'm fine dad." My voice is barely a whisper. He rubs my cold knuckles in an attempt to bring some life into them. "You are so quiet and tense. This is so unlike you Mia." I force a tiny smile. "I'm getting married dad. I guess this happens to every other girl. I'm just feeling a bit...strange, you know?" He nods in understanding. "I know. It's a bold step and the fact that you are barely twenty three can't be ignored. Seth is a good man though. He is going to take care of you." I fight hard to keep a calm face. "I'm sure he will." I reply just as the Limo we're riding in pulls up outside the churc
