“Why are you so nervous?” Beth giggles as we get into my car.
I have no clue why it isn’t like this is the first time anything has happened between us.
“I know, I am sorry,” I chuckle, “I don’t know what is wrong with me,” I add.
Beth reached over, resting her hand on my thigh.
“Relax, Leo. It is me. It isn’t some stranger,” she said softly.
I think that’s why I am nervous because she isn’t a stranger, but my little sister’s best friend. I didn’t think I would ever do anything like this. I didn’t think my little sister would end up with my best friend either. It is a lot of change, and yes, I am still trying to get used to them all.
“I know, sorry, I will relax,” I smile.
Beth nods, and I start the car to head to the restaurant, Beth keeping her
