"You're thinking too hard, Grace," he says softly. "You always do." Grace lets out a watery laugh. "Yeah. That's what I do. I overthink." He tilts her chin up so she has to look at him. "You don't have to have it all figured out, Grace. You don't have to know exactly what you want right now." His voice is so gentle, so certain, it makes fresh tears spill over her lashes. "I'm not going anywhere. You're not on some timeline. There's no supposed to. There's just you and me." Her throat tightens. "What if I never figure it out?"
