“I know it must sound barbaric to you but it is how all our families have done things for ages. Though we understand things have changed now.” Tinsley's mom says and looks back at me. She gives me a small smile but it seems fake to me.
The Mercer guy gives me a side-glance and then looks away as if he is bored and his attention goes back to Tinsley.
‘Arranged marriages? Who even does that any more?’
‘It doesn’t matter.’ Ares says. ‘She is our mate already. There is nothing they can do about that now.’
