We had all split up and retreated into the nearby trees behind us. I had no idea where anyone had gone after we watched Alora get smacked around like she was a rag doll. The first hit she took worried me and almost stole my own breath. I found my breath again when she came right back with a vengeance. The second hit she received from the serpent didn’t seem to be as bad as the first, but none of us were getting anywhere with this thing. Our bullets didn’t seem to do anything and Alora couldn't get close enough to attack it.
