“What do you mean the rings are gone?” Razel practically shrieked. Her eyes almost bulged, and her jaw dropped.
Quila touched her soon-to-be sister-in-law’s arm, trying to calm her down.
“Where was the box, Joey?” Gin asked his gay friend.
“Remember that I have already set the entourage in their places? So, the flower girls and the ring bearer were included. And I have already given the box to the ring bearer, your cousin’s child.”
Quila’s eyes went round. “He’s chasing the flower girls outside!”
“Yes, they got bored while waiting, so that’s why…” Joey shrugged. “And I can’t see the box in his possession anymore,” Joey supplied.
“Maria Santissima!” Quila exclaimed.
Razel swayed and Gin caught her fast by the waist. He supported his bride.
