“You’re bleeding, too, boss.” Lewis took notice when they were in the ER.
Thaz did not even feel it until then. He was bleeding from a flesh wound in his right side, just below his rib cage. When another ER doctor saw it, he was also led to a bed next to Quila, who was being attended by other ER staff.
“What about you, Lewis?” Thaz noticed the graze in his bodyguard’s leg.
“Blooming!” the albino cussed. With all the adrenalin rush, he apparently did not feel it either.
Lewis was also advised to lie down on the next hospital bed. Nurses began to fuss over him, cutting his jeans to check his wound first. Luckily, it was just a graze.
