Her Aunty Titiara and Herardio got back together after ten years. Having a good friendship with Nikko and Drake Mondragon. Minna is still looking for her special someone. Marga became a doctor, which made her family happy.
She accepted herself, flaws and all. Reynold learned how to express his emotions so that he wouldn’t lose someone important to him. Reynold asked Marga to marry him and they returned to their hometown, Riqueza. They learned that Marga is expecting a child together. Everyone was happy when they heard that the family’s bloodline will continue.
After I read the book, I tried to sleep until my vision became dark.
I woke up feeling dizzy. Everything that happened last night made me get up immediately.
“You can’t believe what happened last night, Lindsey!”
“You’ve said that two times now, Tamantha.” What happened? Why did you leave without us last night? Are you crazy? You don’t have a lift! How did you even get home? When we get here, you’ll be sleeping in your bed already! “You are so knocked up with liquor!”
“I know. I don’t even remember what happened after I won one hundred thousand dollars.”
“What?” Her eyebrows knitted.
“Yeah, I haven’t said it yet, but I won a hundred thousand dollars just by turning a guy on!” “I just won by making him hard!”
“What? Tamantha that sounds ridiculous! Are you still drunk? Or did you hit something on your way home last night?
“No! I’m not joking, Lindsey! “Wait, I have proof.” I returned to my room and looked for my purse under the bed. I jammed my hands on it.
I returned to the living room and showed the credit card to Lindsey.
His forehead creased.
“What is this?”
“Credit card! I won that! I informed you that I had won a hundred dollars.
“Yeah, yeah, you won it.” But are you sure this is real? You don’t know the guy, Tamantha; he may be bluffing with you. Or maybe he made fun of you; how did you even win it?”
“I made a bet.”
“How?”
I told Lindsey everything, and all I got from her was a confused look.
“Doesn’t this sound like a scam, Tamantha?”
I pursed my lips.
“Look, you shouldn’t have trusted that guy.” You don’t know him. “He could have taken advantage of you.”
I rolled my eyes. “That’s crazy, Lindsey. He wouldn’t! “I told you he laughed at me!”
“Yes, but still, if what you told me was right, he could because you turned him on! “Guys don’t like it when you leave them with a boner.”
“Well, he doesn’t look like he would do such a thing, Lindsey.” “He looks like he came from a wealthy family.”
“That doesn’t guarantee that someone won’t do anything bad.”
“Yeah… but whatever, Lindsey.” “I will prove you wrong; I will withdraw the money right now.”
“You don’t have to tell Tams; I believe in you, but your story sounded so weird that I can’t accept that you seduced a stranger for a bet.”
“I know. I was just desperate last night, maybe because of the alcohol.” “I thought I could use the money since I lost my job.”
“Well, you really can, and if that’s real money, you can treat me to a coffee.” She laughed.
“Let’s see.” I shrugged.
I took a bath after our breakfast. Lindsey made a simple breakfast since she couldn’t make anything fancy because of her hangover.
“Linsey, I will head out!”
“Already? “Alright, take care!”
I opened the door, and I was taken aback when a police officer greeted me right in front of me.
“Tams?”
I look in Lindsey’s direction.
“What’s going on?”
I don’t have any idea. I want to say it, but I’m too occupied even to voice it out.
“Are you Ms. Tamantha Stolly?”
My forehead creased.
“Yes, why?” My heart thumped inside my chest.
Shit! What the heck did I do last night?
Am I so drunk that I commit heinous crimes?
“You’re under arrest over a stolen credit card.”
“What?” My eyes widened. What is he talking about? A stolen credit card?
Did I steal a credit card last night when I was drunk?
I don’t remember---
Oh s**t!
Is he talking about the credit card the stranger because I won the bet?
What the heck?
I didn’t take it!
“I don’t want to force you, Ms. Stolly. “Just come in peace.”
“No! I’m not going with you! I didn’t steal anything! I didn’t!”
“It was reported this morning, Ms.”
“I swear I didn’t steal it! That guy gave it to me! I won the bet! “He gave it!”
“Ms. Stolly, don’t make this hard.”
“That stupid sh*t!” I cussed.
“That won’t help you, Ms.”
“You’re also stupid.”
Lindsey cut off.
“Tamantha, please! “Just go with the police, we’ll figure it out, and I’ll come there.”
I sighed.
What did I get myself into?

I was still in the police station and it’s been thirty minutes now but but no one is coming for me. The police even give magazines and books to read before I completely go inside the cellar. I didn’t even got time to tell them my side! I shouldn’t be in here alone.
Jona is a good and hardworking niece. She felt like something was missing in her heart from when she was young. She avoided getting close to people and never had a romantic partner, but everything changed when she discovered she wasn’t actually related to her aunt who she had thought was her family.
She wanted to find her real parents to meet them and understand why they didn’t keep her. She met Jojo and Simon when they took her from the coffee shop where she worked. They took her to their isolated big house. She is puzzled about how she got to the big fancy house. At first, she was scared that someone kidnapped her to sell her on the black market, make her do bad things, or take her organs. But this wouldn’t work because she is not healthy and her organs are not good for use.
