Rick has said his last prayer and waited for the beast to maul him to death but that didn't happen instead all he heard was the sound of several gunshots and then a loud thud beside him. His eyes flew open in confusion but before he could take in what was happening the second beast torn out from the forest and angry hurl feeling the air just as the beast lunches at him or that is what he thought until it flew past him showing his underbelly and then connected to something behind him.
