Kade's finger tensed on the trigger.
Flora's breath caught in her throat and she froze-entire body-terrified.

The door exploded inwards, smacking against the wall. There was smoke everywhere and before Kade could so much as blink gunfire exploded into the doorway.
Shouting. Mayhem. The reek of cordite heavy on the air.
Flora barely had time to register what was happening before figures stormed in, moving fast, their weapons flashing in the dim light.
