Chapter 47. When We Went on a Vacation
(Flashback - Jade and Jared going on vacation to Bisbee, AZ, after the deal they made)
Jade was pale and her stomach was twisting when she met Megan and Nate in Professor Rutherford's class. Nate greeted her and she smiled at him. He looked concerned and she knew his concern would grow when he heard what she was going to say.
She sat down and turned to Megan and Nate, hoping they wouldn't kill her right then and there. She wondered how to start this and then decided it would be better to rip it off like a bandaid.
