“How is my son doing?” Richard asked as one of the soldiers came in to report on the situation. Edith was at his side holding onto his hand safe within the inner castle.
“Your son is fine my lord. Actually, he remains unharmed and has shot out a strange power that wiped out a large portion of the creatures. He is amazing, I’ve never seen a dragon with powers like that.” The soldier bowed and then promptly returned to his post.
Richard turned and looked at Edith. “That is not our son’s powers.”
“No… the power they are witnessing is from Kailee.” Edith looked back at Richard.
He shook his head as he tried to think about Kailee. “What in the world is she to have such power? She isn’t just a magic wielder.”
