Ethan saw Cia leaving the party in a hurry. He could not see her face, just her back as he quickly vanished from sight. Billy, who had been dancing with her at the time, was standing in the same place as he stared at him. Ethan did not know why he thought that something was wrong. He immediately removed his hand from Emily's waist and went over to Billy. People were taking his picture but he just walked away from them. Emily stopped and was looking at Ethan’s panicked face as he was talking to Billy.
"Where is she? Why did she walk out of the office in such a hurry?" Ethan asked, looking at the door in alarm. He had been hoping that she would come back if she had stepped out to attend someone’s call.
"Why do you think?" Billy looked a little annoyed.
