As soon as my eyes opened I saw light filtering in around me. When I entered the building last night, there had been no light here and there had only been the dreaded darkness. But right now the sunlight was streaming through the room from the surrounding windows.
Seeing this much light after the complete darkness of the scary office overnight was a great feeling. But it seemed to me that the sunlight was too much, it should not be so sunny at 7:00AM. That was when I realized that my alarm had not gone off this morning.
