When Colton and I walked out of the forest, most of his weight was already leaning on me as I held him under his arm over my shoulders for support. The adrenalin of his anger has faded and the exhaustion on his body was starting to set in. No matter how strong my son was, he had his limitations just like any other person. This little tantrum of anger will help him grow whether he knew it or not. Michael and Matthew, both rushed forward to help which elicited a feint growl from Colton, but I reassured him that they only wanted to help. Begrudgingly, he let the two werewolves help him back to the manor. his arms were over each wolf's shoulders as they guided him and I followed.
