ASHLYNN POV. The sounds of training wolves echoed faintly from the courtyard below. Every so often, a sharp bark of command or the growl of shifting wolves carried through the open window. It was strange, to know that outside, the world was preparing for war, while in here, Athena and I were trying to awaken something far older and far more dangerous.
