I woke up halfway through the night. I looked out the window and it was dark and really quiet. Except for the guards outside my window. And I saw a couple posted outside my door as well.
No one was getting in to see me unless they had clearance from the Alpha’s.
Zeke was asleep with his head on the side of my bed and Bellamy was sitting up in his chair looking at his phone.
“Shouldn’t you be asleep?” I asked.
“I could ask you the same thing.” He said.
“I think I’ve slept plenty in the last two days.” I said.
“How do you feel?” He asked, leaning forward.
“I’m alright. Considering. Is Jake dead?” I asked.
“Yeah.” He said.
“I don’t know what they did with the body at the cabin near the lake. I didn’t see what they did with him. But it was Jake’s cousin that I killed.” I said.
