As soon as I got back to the packhouse that afternoon I went to the office and Zeke and Bellamy were in there doing some work.
“Do you guys know who Lexie’s parents are?” I asked.
“Yeah.” Bellamy said.
“I want them on official warning.” I said.
“Why?” Zeke asked.
“They just went to Lexie’s house. They didn’t know that I was there. They were threatening her. Basically telling her that if she cared about them at all then she would leave the pack. She’s got nowhere else to go. And they accused her of using me to solidify her position in the pack. So she wouldn’t be shunned.” I explained.
The guys both looked at each other.
“We’ll talk to them and make sure that it doesn’t happen again.” Zeke said.
