I looked over at the guard and he hadn’t moved an inch. I was confused at first but then I saw a weird little shield around the cell that was barely visible.
“He can’t see anything in here. He thinks you’re still sitting on the ground staring at him.” Beth said.
“Are you guys really here or is it just in my head?” I asked. So Bellamy moved forward and he pulled me into a hug.
That was all the proof that I needed. They were really here. They teleported here and they were definitely going to help me.
“Can’t you just teleport me out?” I asked.
“No. Because the council will come looking for you and that will mean even more trouble for all of us. We have to play by their rules for now.” Bellamy said.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked.
“You have to help them with the Lycan King.”
