I decided to stop teasing my mate as I released him from my hold. I took a deep breath before I walked over to my desk and sat down in my chair. No one was saying anything as they just looked at eachother and I could see some tears forming in my sisters eyes. I went to scoot my chair up but before I could, Forrest sat in my lap and wrapped an arm around my neck. He was sitting sideways in my lap as with his hand around my neck while his head was facing Opal. I took my eyes off of my mate and looked forward as I cleared my throat. Everyone looked towards me except my father and I just rolled my eyes.
“Marcus, you need to explain how this happened and why now.” My father raises his head and nods before he looks over towards Opal.
Opal meets his eyes and I can see some tea
