I burst into laughter, the tightness in my chest easing a little.
Yesterday, when we left the hospital, Fox was still sedated. And even after the doctor reassured us he’d be okay, I couldn’t calm down.
Thankfully, Steel was able to give me a ride today during visiting hours.
I’m not gonna lie. Being outside Salvation MC headquarters so soon after clashing with a Viper is intimidating. But I have to force myself to be strong enough to be out there. I need to leave the compound sooner than I planned, based on Luther’s words.
He thinks I’m a pity project. So, f**k him. I’ll stay until Fox regains his footing, then I’ll leave. I’ll even ask Tank about the women’s shelter he mentioned
