After I left Tessa in the library, Garrett wouldn't shut up about just leaving her there. I went back to my class constantly arguing with him. Nicole seemed to think that she would be fine, but Garrett just went into overprotective mode. I finally managed to block him out although I could still hear him faintly grumbling in the back of my mind. I finished my next three classes in a haze before the bell for lunch finally rang. I don't think I've ever been so excited to enter a school cafeteria as I was then. I walked in and automatically started looking for my brother. I was hoping he would have some explanations pertaining to the whole Tessa/Dash situation.
I had just spotted him when I found my arm entangled by some crazy high school girl. I looked down at her in utter disgust.
