When my dad passed away in front of me, with me cradling his head in my lap, that had to be the toughest moment of my life so far. I thought I had seen it all when I learned of his illness, but I only hit rock bottom when he left this world, and left me to fend for myself. I am now much better. I see much more clearly. And although the decision to leave the States is the fruit of a whim, I am already committed to the idea. I cannot wait to go on this journey.
