Well, the rest of the dinner went surprisingly well..my Uncle and Asher came in and seemed not to have any visible injuries, and the wink Asher gave me made me relax instantly.
So my uncle was okay with it all..that is a relief..maybe this whole thing with Lacey has softened him more than I realized. I have a feeling she is going to fit right in with the family too. She definitely doesn't let my Uncle get away with his usual crap and I had to stifle a laugh for most of the evening.
My Uncle and I did end up talking and he said he was happy for me, we might've cried a little too but he promised me not to tell anyone. But I just felt so damn happy, this was all going as great as it could.
After dinner, we tried to play a few card games but it just ended up becoming a huge compe
