Uncle dearest

1654 Words

Kronos ran in the direction of the blasts, determined to find out who the hell was attacking them. This wasn’t something that happened before. The camp was situated by the mountain for a reason. This way when someone attacked, they would have less area to protect because the mountain formed a natural border behind the camp. That, however, didn’t help during a surprise attack. This way, they were trapped with nowhere to run. But that was never supposed to happen. A surprise attack shouldn’t be an option. Despite all that, no one knew about this until the second the spell went off. The blasts slowly died down by now, but Kronos knew where the red formed in the sky and was headed in that direction. He went through the sea of panicking soldiers and grabbed a sword for himself as he went.
