Brittany's POV:
"Have you decided?" Sam asked me.
"Yes, I'll love to join the team", I nodded.
"Great, well detective Miles will show you what to do and I'm sure you'll pick up quickly", he said confidently.
I nodded and left the office.
"Morning Mrs. Grant", detective Miles greeted me, "we just got a report about someone found dead in their vehicle", he informed me.
"We're riding together Miles?" Kacy caught up to us, she just glanced at me.
"Yeah and Brittany is our newest member on the crime investigation team", he added.
"Just great", she scoffed, "only the second day on the job and she already slept her way to the top", she muttered but I still heard her, kind of hurtful though.
