Three $11,840 That was not a lot of money. Much less than Tasa had anticipated, for sure. She let out a frustrated sigh as she considered the cash in her Hermes backpack. She should be grateful she had that much. It would set her up in Canada, preferably somewhere high up near the tundra where no one could find her. Looking out the window of the Greyhound bus, dressed in the only pair of jeans she owned, she let herself breathe freely for the first time.
