The tension inside Bella’s house was thick enough to cut with a blade. Everyone was on edge, eyes frequently flicking to the clock or the window as if Ryan or Matt would appear at any moment with an update on Caleb. Aiden leaned against the kitchen counter with arms crossed, Blake paced along the hallway, and Rachel sat with a worried frown, her knee bouncing anxiously. Emma and William were in the living room with Noah, while Bella stood by the window in her bedroom, waiting.
