Over the course of the next twelve years, I do everything in my power to make Rowan a respectable future Alpha. I felt like his actions and words most of the time were payback for how I was towards my parents when I was younger.
We gave Rowan his independence but were ever watchful over him. I had to stop Zoe quite a bit from intruding on things he did, and from giving him everything he wanted without question or him working for what he wanted. He learned that if he wanted something he would need to show us he deserved it before he got it.
