Alex’s POV
We got back home in the dead of night and went straight up to our room with our things. We crawled into bed after shedding our clothes and slept for a couple of hours before my alarm went off to wake us up. I rolled over and turned my alarm off. I didn’t feel drowsy or tired this morning. I was fully awake and ready to get back into the swing of things.
I looked over to find Zoe waking up and reaching out for me. I smiled at my amazing little mate and how she looks. Her hair was all over the place with her eyes still closed. I wrapped my arm around her and brought her into my side as I laid on my back so she could snuggle a little before I mind-linked the kitchen for breakfast.
