Alex’s POV
After passing out from exhaustion last night, it was almost impossible to wake up this morning. My alarm was going off as always. I turned it off and rolled over to cuddle up with Zoe. The sun was starting to come through the glass wall of the bedroom. This was peaceful and we very much needed it.
I listened to Zoe lightly breathing. She had stirred at the sound of my alarm, but didn’t wake up. She stirred a little at me cuddling up to her, but I could tell she was still asleep. I laid there and listened to her breath and watched the sun come up over the water. This was amazing and I was so happy that I had decided to do this.
My stomach started growling so I decided to get up and order breakfast for us. I sat in the living room watching TV
