Zoe’s POV
I think I held my breath for over half of the challenge. Watching Alex and Gage collide like that had my heart stopping in my chest. I had been so scared to let Alex fight him that I didn't realize until halfway through the challenge that I had never seen Gage fight another Alpha, only Omegas and a few Betas. Alex was able to keep up with him when it came to brute force and I was proud of him for that, but would it be enough?
I didn’t even know I was screaming Alex’s name until I heard my voice when things got more violent. Pack members were growling and howling during the challenge right along with me. All of them encouraged their Alpha to keep fighting.
