We were back home after the council meeting a few days ago. We were taking the day off from work to catch up with Mason and the gang of orphans. Zoe and I were currently seated on the couch in the living room of their portion of the packhouse, listening to Kay suck up all the oxygen in the room with all of her talking.
“Did you know that the amount of kids at the school has grown lately with all the new pack members? It’s so amazing to meet all the new kids and learn about each of them. All the places they have seen or lived in are amazing,” Kay said.
