With Lilith hot on my tail and watching my every move, I can do very little for Sophia and her friends without causing more damage. This is how I found myself choosing to help Blaze first. It’s almost funny how much I’ve changed since Sophia entered my existence.
I make a show out of finishing up, which manages to draw a surprised reaction from Lilith.
“Leaving already?”
“There isn’t anything imminent for me here. Certainly nothing that any of the demons I’ve been sending out to reap souls, can’t do.” I shrug.
