(Dominic’s POV) I slammed the door shut behind me, the echo ricocheting off the walls like a gunshot. My fists were still stained with Caleb’s blood. My own knuckles were torn open, raw and burning as I crossed the room and yanked open the bathroom cabinet. I grabbed a cloth and doused it in whiskey from the flask on the counter—there was no damn antiseptic here, so this would have to do. The sting made me hiss, but I welcomed the pain.
