“Oh. Where are we going?” Wade showed me his yellowest smile. I swear to the f*****g Goddess, it was taking all of my self-control not to punch his teeth out.
“You are staying here,” I stated harshly, looking straight into his eyes as I wrapped my hand around Dree’s arm, pulling her closer to me.
As I was about to turn around to leave, I heard his annoying voice again. “I’m afraid that’s not how it works, buddy. According to the Queen’s orders-”
